Beauty and grace best describe ballet instructor Morgan Robbins. Dancing since the age of three, she continued her love for dance at UNCG where she recently obtained a Minor Degree in Dance and a Major in Sports Medicine. Although her schedule has been very hectic for the past four years she has successfully been able to teach dance and perform as a member of the UNCG Dance Team. Her love for Lyrical Ballet began at an early age where she felt words and movement should work together as one. Morgan’s involvement in pageants allowed her to use her abilities in dance to create a poise and presence that later would enable her to hold many pageant titles. She also acquired a modeling and fashion sense that earned her numerous photogenic and fashion awards.
Throughout High School Morgan continued dance on a competition level winning High Score Solos and Overall Talent Awards in such competitions as Showstoppers, On Stage, Star Quest, and Dance Educators of America. If that wasn’t enough, she added seven years of cheerleading experience to compete on an International level to gain a 4th runner up in the Individuals Competition.

Sarah has been dancing since age five. She began her formal training in American Ballet Technique at age nine. She was formally trained in North Carolina under renowned instructors such as Tina Yarborough Liggins of Ote'sha Dance Ensemble, Lisa Kidd of Arts Evangelica, Virginia Freeman Dupont of BADA Dance, Robert Royce of Greensboro Ballet, Diana Turner-Forte of Ballet MET, Sherone Price of American Dance Festival, and Jan VanDyke, former director of Dance at UNCG. She has performed in Texas, along the east coast, in Canada, the Bahamas, at Disney World and in the 1996 World Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. She also performed in Times Square and was invited to to take master classes at the Alvin Ailey School in New York.
Sarah views teaching as a tool to inspire and encourage so sharing her passion and experience with others is what she has done for decades. "The greatest gain for me is when I see a student smiling with such pride or giddy with excitement when they execute something they felt they would never get right. And, of course, just seeing the expression and joy… the freedom and peace coming from deep within the dancer when they start to move around on the floor brings me such pride because I know that exact feeling so well."

Light on her feet and light at heart, Mitzi Curtis will sweep you away in her Ballroom and Couples classes. Although the words, “No the other left foot” are common place in this class, Mitzi admits that you don’t always have to be on the right foot to have a great time. The years of experience and dance titles that she holds are more numerous than she cares to mention. She will admit that her Ballroom has allowed her to travel and dance with some well-known names in dance.
When it comes to partnering, she’s got the right moves. Although there’s a correct placement and body alignment for each move, it’s the passion and sheer pleasure of movement that Mitzi instills in her students that make them come back for more. Whether taking this class is for that very special “First Dance” at your wedding or simply because you were motivated by TV’s “Dancing With The Stars”, experience this class for the time of your life.
